Do I need a reservation?

Yes, please refer to “Teas by Reservation” tab for information regarding our tea services.

The Mad Hatter does offer tea and scone service on availability, we do not take reservations for this.

How far in advance do I need a reservation?

Saturdays are our busiest day of the week and often book up approximately 3-4 weeks in advance. When making reservations, please allow a minimum of 24 hours notice.

Do you have a menu?

Please refer to “Teas by Reservation” tab for information on our teas. We do not have a menu to select from. Our tea services are pre set menus.

Are children welcome at the Tea Room?

Yes, we can accommodate children ages 4 and up. Please let us know when you call for a reservation that there are children accompanying you. We recommend our Duchess Tea for children ages 10 and under. We do NOT have high chairs.

Do you accommodate special dietary concerns?

We can accommodate vegetarian and gluten intollerance restrictions with advance reservations and notice. We can NOT accommodate strict dietary restrictions as we are a small tea room and not able to prepare for such in a cost effective manner.

What is your cancellation policy?

Can we pick any tea we like?

We prepare 2 teas of the day. One caffeinated, and one herbal or decaffeinated tea. Because we have limited tea brewing space we cannot brew a large selection of teas.  However we carry over 40 selections of tea, time and space permitting we will brew another selection for a $2 surcharge. Please allow approximately 15 minutes if you request a specific tea.

How many teas to you carry?

We carry over 40 varieties of loose leaf tea.

Do you have a dress code?

We do not have a dress code. However, many of our guests love to come dressed up and wearing hats. We also have a hat rack that you can borrow a hat from during your visit with us.

Do you do private parties or groups?

Yes, please refer to “Let Us Host Your Party” or “Private Room Rental” on the Left scroll bar of our Home Page.
